Lynda Tafaro graduated from Loyola University School of Law, magna cum laude, in May 1998.  She served as Articles Editor for the Loyola Law Review and was a member of  Loyola Moot Court.  Prior to attending law school, she was employed by Pan American Life Insurance Co. as a programmer in the Information Systems Department.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude in Mathematics from Loyola University of New Orleans in May 1989.   

Upon her graduation from law school, Lynda served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable A.J. McNamara, chief judge, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana from 1998 – 1999.  From 1999 – 2000, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Harry T. Lemmon, Associate Justice for the Louisiana Supreme Court.   She now focuses primarily on appellate practice in the Louisiana state courts.
